Interlume · For families
Video call anyone in their language.
Create your account and send a link. No app, no account for them. They just talk.
Each of you speaks your own language and hears the other in yours, out loud. One switch turns translation off for an ordinary video call.

02 · Hear them
Hear Grandma laugh. Understand the joke.
Captions are there if you want them, but Interlume is about hearing each other. The translation is spoken out loud and the other person's own voice drops down, so the translation is what you follow.
-
She tells a story
Your grandmother tells a story in Portuguese, in her own voice.
Seu avô ficou uma hora procurando os óculos. Estavam na cabeça dele! -
Her voice goes quiet
As soon as the translation starts, her own voice drops down, so the translation is what you follow.
Seu avô ficou uma hora procurando os óculos. Estavam na cabeça dele!Your grandpa spent an hour looking for his glasses. -
The story plays
You hear the story in English, out loud, as she tells it. When you answer, she hears you in Portuguese the same way.
Seu avô ficou uma hora procurando os óculos. Estavam na cabeça dele!Your grandpa spent an hour looking for his glasses. They were on his head! -
Switch it off
Turn translation off, and it's an ordinary video call in your own voices.

For staying
Loyalty Rules
Bonus minutes and a locked price for staying on Family.
- 60 bonus minutes once after 6 paid Family months in a row
- 80 more bonus minutes once after 12 paid Family months in a row
- Minute packs don't count toward bonus minutes, even if you buy one every month
- Your price stays locked while you're subscribed
- If you delete your account and come back later, your bonus minutes start from zero and you pay the price at that time
- Prices are for buying on our website, in US dollars.
- Each call connects two people. The host pays once for both directions. One free trial per verified account.
- Keep translation on or off as you like. Call minutes count in either mode.
- At 3 minutes remaining, the host can add minutes without ending the call. A reminder follows at 1 minute. At zero credit, the call ends unless more minutes have been added.
- Family renews automatically every month at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel any time in Interlume on the web, or in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions if you subscribed there; Family then ends when the month you paid for ends.
- Family is monthly only. On Apple and Google it is $14.99 a month. A 50-minute pack is $11.99 on Apple or $13.99 on Google; a 60-minute Family top-up is $11.99 on Apple or $14.99 on Google.
- Refunds: if you haven't used any of the minutes a website purchase gave you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of the charge, a Family renewal included, by emailing support@minmaxholdings.com. A refunded Family month ends the subscription and its locked price, and doesn't count toward bonus minutes. If a call fails because of us, we give back the minutes it used. Purchases on Apple or Google are refunded by Apple or Google under their rules.
- Pricing may change before general availability.
06 · Questions
What families ask us.
01What is Interlume?
Interlume is a video-calling app that translates both sides of the call out loud as people talk. Use it on the web now; it's coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. It's made by MinMax Holdings LLC.
02Does the other person need to download anything?
No. They tap the link you send, and the call opens in their phone's or computer's web browser. Guests don't need an account.
03Can I use Interlume with WhatsApp?
Interlume isn't part of WhatsApp. You can share an Interlume invite link in any chat, including WhatsApp, and the call happens in Interlume, in your browser.
04Which languages does Interlume support?
21: English, Spanish, Chinese, Ukrainian, Arabic, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Filipino (Tagalog). Each person picks the language they want to hear.
05Will I still hear their real voice?
While translation is on, their own voice drops down and you hear the translation, with captions on screen. Either of you can turn translation off with one switch to hear your own voices. Call minutes continue counting in either mode.
06Is a person translating?
No. Interlume uses automated translation, and it tells everyone on the call. It can make mistakes, so don't rely on it for medical, legal, emergency, or financial decisions.
07Is Interlume a replacement for Skype Translator?
Microsoft retired Skype in May 2025. If you used Skype's translator to talk with family, Interlume is built for the same kind of call: video, with each person speaking their own language, and your guest joins from a link.
08Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, on the web: Chrome on Android phones, Safari on iPhone, and Chrome or Edge on computers. Apps for the App Store and Google Play are coming soon.
09How much does Interlume cost?
On our website, Family is $12.99 a month for 75 call minutes, with translation included. A 50-minute pack is $9.99 without a subscription; Family subscribers can add 60 minutes for $9.99. Purchased minutes never expire. Family gets 60 bonus minutes once after 6 paid Family months in a row and 80 more once after 12 in a row. Minute packs don't count toward them. Whoever starts the call pays. Joining is always free. New accounts get 5 free call minutes for 3 days.
10Do minutes count when translation is off?
Yes. Your minutes cover the connected video call, with translation available when you need it. One minute of a two-person call uses one host minute, whether translation is on or off. You can keep using the translation switch.
11What happens when my minutes run low?
The host sees a warning at 3 minutes remaining and a reminder at 1 minute. They can choose a top-up and confirm payment while the call stays connected. Once payment is confirmed, the extra minutes are added. If the available balance reaches zero, the call ends. We do not automatically buy more minutes for you.
